Microsoft Surface Phone Release Date Delayed [RUMOR]



Microsoft is expected to release Surface Phone this year but the new rumor suggests that there is an uncertainty in the release date. It is also speculated that the it will be business-centric handset.
Fans will have to wait a bit longer as Surface Phone launch in the latter part of 2017.

Since it is business-centric phone, it will target the enterprise sector. It is stated that Microsoft is not abandoning Windows Mobile. And looking at Windows desktops that aim at high-end professional market, this would likely be the category for the Surface Phone as well.


Specs
As far as specification are concerned, Surface Phone will have powerful chipset. With Intel now out of mobile of business, Microsoft will likely opt for Qualcomm. But it is also being rumored that Kaby Lake will make its debut in 2017 and Microsoft possibly go with it for its processor needs.

There will likely be three variants of Surface Phone:
3GB RAM / 32GB, 6GB RAM / 128GB, and 8GB RAM / 500GB. This is a speculative information reported by
Trusted Reviews. There is also a mention of 5.7-inch Quad HD display and a 20 MP camera built by Carl Zeiss.
The price you need to pay for the base model is $699, as the business phones are a bit expensive.

Now the question is that in the market which is already conquered by Android and iOS, will this phone make a huge difference among the aimed customers (business professionals) , being already aware of the fact that the existing platforms are proven versatile and affordable for the common users and the professionals.
