Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air: What You Need to Know




Xiaomi has been shifted to the technology that is more than just phones. Xiaomi is announcing to the world Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air - a clone to apple mac-book air. There are two sizes of the Mi Notebook air 12.5 inch and a 13.3 inch. Both of these the ultra thin and highly portable products. The 13.3 inch model is both thinner and lighter than the apple's mac-book air. But 12.5 inch is thinner and a little heavier than a 11 inch apple's mac book air.

Both the models feature full HD display that is 1920 by 1080 that equates to pixel density of 875 ppi on the 12.5 inch model and 165 ppi on the 13.3 model. Compare this to 130 ppi on the 13 inch mac-book air and a 142 pppi on the 11 inch model. You are getting more pixels density display. 

The price of the 13.3 inch Mi Notebook Air is $750 whereas $520 for 12.5 inch model.

13.3 inchThe 13.3 inch model is equipped with i5 that is up to 2.7 GHz and a Nvidia geforce 940 max GPU. There is 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 GB of SSD and a PCIE with one empty slot for Xiaomi service memory expansion.

12.5 inchThis model comes with some lighter specs including the Intel Core m 3 CPU and it has no dedicated GPU. It has 4 gigabytes of RAM a 128 gigabytes in the SSD via SATA and with one free pcie slot.There's only one USB 3.0 port on this model but you still get HDMI and dual AKG speakers.This model is reportedly gives 11.5 hours of battery life and weighs just over one kilogram. 

AvailabilityThe Xiaomi Notebook Air will be available on 2nd August in China but no release date plans have been announced for the global market.

Another interesting feature is that both Mi Notebook Airs will be available in silver and gold.
These look great and fantastic and sleek and very affordable. They're much cheaper than the competitors.
